    It allows you to collect, access, utilize, and share data across your company network and connects you to multiple parts of the network via access points, gateways, and routers. It is what we commonly use today as it is easy to install and a more reliable connectivity method applicable to any wireless device. 


     Wireless Network Deployment

    1. Centralized Deployment

    - Its controllers are installed in a centralized location, and this is traditionally used in campuses where buildings and networks are in very close proximity. It consolidates the wireless network makes it easier to upgrade and can facilitate advanced wireless functionality. 

    2. Converged Deployment 

    - this offers consistency in both wireless and wired connection on one network device which is the access switch. It performs the dual role of both switch and wireless controller.

    3. Cloud-based Deployment 

    - from the word itself it uses cloud to manage its network devices and deployed on-premises at different locations. 


    Different Wireless connectivity methods

    1. Wireless LAN (WLAN) - it provides access to the internet within a building or limited area. 

    2. Wireless MAN - it is installed in cities worldwide to provide internet access to many people outside of their homes or office networks. 

    3. Wireless PAN - it only covers a limited area and is typically a maximum of 100 meters using protocols such as Bluetooth and Zigbee.

    4. Wireless WAN - this connectivity method uses cellular technology to give internet access outside the range of WLAN or Wireless MAN. This allows users to make phone calls through a wireless WAN or wired telephone system.

    The data transmission between networks helps mainly with communication improvement. It is now easier for us to connect without the need for long wires or cables which is too hassle and very inconvenient. We can go wherever we want as we rely on the network we get connected to.
