    5G Network [23]

Both help you connect and get access to the internet but it differs in their uses and ranges. Any industry and business today makes use of that connection to communicate effectively within its organization or to provide efficient operation to its customers. It's a key to keeping anyone running most of their errands and staying up to date on any services they need.

Get to Know WiFi vs Cellular Data

    Wi-Fi

    - It's a wireless connection which means there's no need for any cables or wires for you to get an internet connection. It only requires you to be within the vicinity of the Wi-Fi signal where you are within its range of the network.

-It's very easy to set up and mostly used at home and public places such as libraries, restaurants, and coffee shops. When you're device detects a nearby network you can just open it and connect.

-It's generally created by one device (like a router) and made available for all the users within that network.

    Cellular Data

-This is also a type of internet connection that uses a cellular network.

-It has the standard for every phone making it the most popular method of connectivity.

-It communicates directly to the internet and not by any local network created by a router.

-You will need to pay for any data you use which would mean the cost of transferring or using a lot of data per month.

-It's convenient since whether you're on the go, you can still get coverage and access the internet.

Differences between Wi-Fi vs. cellular Data

*Wi-Fi is set up at your home by any IT at work or offered by an ISP or internet service provider while Cellular Data is offered by mobile carriers like AT&T, Verizon, Sprint, T-Mobile, etc.

*Wi-Fi is location-based and covers small areas like homes and airports while Cellular Data covers larger areas like cities and towns.

*Wi-Fi typically has no limit for any amount of data you want to use, while Cellular Data is a user purchase plan for a certain amount of data you need or want for a period.

*Wi-Fi is generally much faster, perfect for data-intensive activities like Netflix, Skype, Youtube, etc. while Cellular Data is very useful for simple internet activities like Facebook or using email.

Both types of connection allow you to connect to the internet wirelessly, however, if the other doesn't work as your best option you can have the other to help you save your day. If you're not connecting to any home network, cellular data can help you though it may cost you a lot compared to having a Wi-Fi connection. Now that you know the difference between Wi-Fi and cellular data, you still can have both to make you freely connect wherever you go. They both have pros and cons and it matters depends on what you want to use and what's available for you.
